Oil on canvas setting sun the Alsace trough by Meyer

This oil on canvas was made by e. Meyer. This is a scene of undergrowth under the setting sun in alsace. There is an inscription at the back indicating "sunset the watering trough alsace france, eth. Meyer". The frame is from the twentieth century, added later, but is perfectly suited to this work. This work is presented unprepared, not restored, we report small cracks due to time, minimal lack of paint in places, however this oil remains presentable, chic and executed with a nice brushstroke.
