Vintage 1930s Pirouett Art Deco lamp in black opaline glass - 45 cm

Vintage Pirouett lamp in nickel-plated brass and black and white opaline glass, circa 1930, in good condition. A quintessential French Art Deco lamp, made in Nice, this magnificent model boasts a delightful patina. It is very clean, the nickel patina is beautiful, and the opaline glass shade, white inside and black outside, is magnificent and rare, with a slight chip on the inside. The electrical cord, switch, and plug are new, having been replaced before we acquired the lamp. Only the socket is original. It uses a bayonet bulb (not included). It measures 45cm in height when open (30cm otherwise), the shade is 23cm long, and it is 35cm deep.
