A design that has stood the test of time for nearly a century. The Hala desk lamp model 144 by H.Th.A. Busquet is a prime example of functional design with character. The original design dates back to the 1930s and was produced in the 1950s. The clear lines and technical ingenuity align seamlessly with Bauhaus principles. No unnecessary details, just form and function in harmony. This version is finished in a warm bronze-brown shade for both the base and shade. Combined with brushed chrome, the lamp has a rich, slightly softer appearance than the silver-grey variant, without losing its strength. From the round base, the chrome-plated stem rises up. Thanks to two hinge points, the lamp is fully adjustable. The arm can be moved forwards and backwards without steps. The mushroom-shaped shade is separately tiltable, allowing easy switching between focused task lighting and softer indirect lighting. The switch is integrated into the cord. In our workshop, we have carefully cleaned the lamp and treated it with metal wax. The technique has been inspected and the lamp is ready for use.
