Black Rademacher table lamp on a heavy iron base. This lamp comes from Germany, around 1930. It was probably used as a machine lamp in a workshop or factory. Rademacher was founded by Ernst Rademacher in 1914 in Düsseldorf under the name Rademacher GmbH. From 1920, the company began producing work lamps. These lamps are distinguished by the very high quality of their components and their patented and extremely clever hinge system. We have completely disassembled this lamp, cleaned it, applied a layer of clear varnish, and rewired it with a grounded black fabric cord and plug. We then mounted this lamp on a heavy black metal base. It is marked in several places with the "R" of Rademacher. The rubber cap on the switch is original and cracked on one side. These are generally worn from frequent use. Of course, it can also be removed as seen in the photos. A beautiful classic of industrial design that fits into any interior!.
