Fold chair by Giancarlo Piretti produced by Anonima Castelli 1970

With Plia, the Italian designer Giancarlo Piretti redefined the folding chair in 1967 for the manufacturer Anonima Castelli and brought it up to date. Equipped with a three-ball joint and made of steel and transparent plastic Cellidor, the Plia folding chair immediately won over people. It has since become a cult object of "Italian design", has won several awards and is a centerpiece of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Structure in very good condition, no breakage (a small crack in the recessed part which does not affect the solidity of the seat, reported for the shape), a few scratches from use which are unavoidable on this material 51cm wide 76cm high 48cm deep
