Decorative plate in glazed earthenware by Roger Capron, Vallauris. Polychrome decoration of a Greek warrior with an eye shield, hand-painted, on an ivory white background. Signed on the reverse. Diameter 21.5 cm. Very good condition. This plate belongs to the same iconographic group as the crescent-shield plate offered for sale simultaneously. The two pieces form a coherent decorative pair and can be purchased together.
