Rare Italian pitcher made between 1953 and 1965. Exceptional decoration. Signed CAPRON VALLAURIS A20. Roger Capron (1922-2006) won the Grand Prix International de la Céramique in 1970. A gifted and visionary ceramist, he contributed to the golden age of ceramics with Picasso, Derval, and Picault. He was notably hired to redecorate the Byblos Hotel in St Tropez.
