Red crystal glass lamp by Börne Augustsson for Åseda

A stunning bright red mid-century modern crystal lamp made by the talented Börne Augustsson for Åseda, Sweden during the 1950s. The shape is very biomorphic and the colour is an amazing red tone, with clear crystal glass around the whole lamp. Embedded in the glass are countless air bubbles. The lamp is very special and will make a statement and add to any interior setting. It is 17 cm high including the lamp fitting and around 15 cm in diameter. It is in very good condition. NOTE: This lamp is currently fitted with an EU standard plug. It is newly re-wired and takes an E27 screw light bulb. Lamp shades and ornaments are not included. This lamp is rather heavy at 1.8 kg.
