Rare table lamp designed by bjørn wiinblad for rosenthal germany, 1960s. Bjørn wiinblad is known for his characteristic pottery and procelain figures, which are often very elaborately decorated. Also this beautiful porcelain lamp base designed with much fun and very decorative. The lamp has the shape of a man's head with mustache, ears and a handle and is beautifully decorated. The lamp is glazed in a beautiful deep blue color. The shade is made of an ecru colored fabric with plastic inner hood. A rare and unique object that certainly brightens up the interior. Dimensions: lamp base h37 X w20 X d26 cm, with shade, high 55 dia shade 37 cm. In very good undamaged condition.
