Flat plates Gien thistles

Nice set of 2 flat plates in iron earth, from the french earthenware factory gien, model "thistles", period 1886-1938. Ivory background with floral decoration (thistles) of blue color in the middle and frieze on the perimeter. Nice general condition. Note the shade of ivory white between the 2 plates, some stripes, the presence of hair (crack of the enamel on the surface) and irregularities of origin of the decoration (technique of transfer), 2 small chips at the border. Small defects that do not alter the charm of this duo to associate with other iron earth models. Size: h3 X w24 X d24. Weight: 800 grams.
