Danish mid-century Orient table lamp by Jo Hammerborg for Fog & Morup, 1960s, set of 2.

Two Orient table lamps from the Danish manufacturer Fog & Morup, designed by Jo Hammerborg in the early 1960s. A very simple and symmetrical design with an ornamental note in the characteristic onion shape, which is found in the table lamp version of the Orient at the base. There is a classic-shaped fluorescent shade above the base. The original frames of the shade have been professionally relocated. The dark green fabric shows a rough texture and harmonises perfectly with the aluminium surface of the base. The shades have a cover that directs the light upwards. This can be removed for more ambient light. The lamps have push switches on the frames. The lamps are in very good condition with signs of wear. The original shades have been professionally reconstructed.
