Two-part cabinet, recessed and with a glass-fronted display case, in Indian rosewood, circa 1850/60

A two-part, recessed, glass-fronted Indian rosewood cabinet, circa 1850/60, opening with two glazed doors and a drawer in the frieze. It features attractive decoration of finely chiseled carvings and guilloché moldings. In fairly good condition, both aesthetically and functionally. This is a beautifully crafted piece of refined and elegant cabinetmaking, most likely of English origin. Overall dimensions: 91.5 cm x 48 cm x 186 cm high. Dimensions of the lower section: 91.5 cm x 48 cm x 102 cm high. Dimensions of the upper section: 86 cm x 34.5 cm x 84 cm high.
