Antique Victorian swivel office armchair

We offer for sale this unique swivel bergère office chair in Victorian continental style, hand-carved, with a significant height adjustment up to bar stool height. This chair dates from the late Victorian era and features a threaded axle mechanism, one of the earliest designs for height-adjustable chairs. It has been lightly restored with a deep clean, waxed, and hand-polished, showing some normal patina marks due to age and use. Dimensions: height 112.5 cm adjustable, width 52 cm, depth 58 cm, seat height 41 cm adjustable up to 65 cm. Please note that the natural patina of vintage leather seats may include cracks, creases, and wear. We recommend regular waxing to maintain moisture and prevent sun discolouration.
