Wooden box inlays brass

Charming little wooden box with a nice veining, inlaid with brass decorations with a nice patina, whose age and origin I unfortunately do not know. It is a handcrafted work, the wood has been left rough on the small sides of the upper part of the lid. It has two compartments inside, perhaps a storage box for two decks of cards. It is in good general condition, solid but has small defects, probably original, and small marks of time: a few tiny stains, some small marks. It measures 13 cm by 7.7 cm for a height of 7 cm and weighs just over 300g.
