Poul Cadovius Shelving System Cado Royal Vintage Teak 60s

Royal System wall shelf by Poul Cadovius made of teak wood. Designed in 1948, this system is one of the early wall-mounted shelving systems of Danish design and follows Cadovius' idea of moving storage space from the floor to the wall. The dark wall rails and black metal brackets create a clear contrast to the warm wood tone. The structure consists of three shelves on the left and six shelves on the right. In the lower left area, there is a closed cabinet element with two sliding doors and a shelf, while the right side is completely open. All shelves and the cabinet element can be positioned differently within the system, allowing for various configurations. The shelf is in very good condition with age-appropriate signs of use.
