This independent desk was made in Denmark in the 1960s. This piece of furniture is an excellent example of mid-century Scandinavian design, combining a minimalist form with exceptional functionality and high-quality craftsmanship. Thanks to its beautifully finished back, the desk can also be positioned in the centre of a room, looking good from all angles. The desk is made of teak wood and teak veneer. It features six spacious drawers positioned on either side, as well as a lockable bar compartment and shelves located at the front. The characteristic rounded edges, subtly sculpted handles, and slender legs give the piece an elegant and timeless appearance, typical of the best Danish furniture designs of the 1960s. The desk has undergone professional woodworking restoration. The wooden elements have been stripped of the old finish, stained in oak colour, and finished with a high-quality, durable semi-matt varnish that highlights the natural beauty of the teak grain and offers excellent resistance to daily use.
