Sumptuous curved weekender in veneered wood in Louis XV style.

Sumptuous tallboy with an incredible upper curve and superb gilded bronze fittings. In the Louis XV style, it dates from the early 20th century and features 7 drawers (hence the name tallboy), each equipped with two beautiful handles, a gilded bronze keyhole, and an original working lock. There is an original key that opens all the drawers. The patina is superb, both deep and very luminous, and the contrast with the gilding is particularly successful. The upper curve, which gives the piece a very majestic air, is highlighted by two beautiful gilded bronzes (all the bronzes are present). The legs are curved, and the lower belt is elegantly shaped. Everything about this piece is both bold and discreet. A very beautiful item. There are signs of wear, a few minor veneer accidents, but nothing truly significant.
