Covered pot in stoneware signed Jean Maubrou, made in Saint-Amand-en-Puisaye in the 1940s-1950s. This piece is appealing due to its harmonious silhouette and finely crafted decoration. The well-rounded body is accentuated by a regular incised pattern that adds relief and highlights the artisanal character of the whole. The lid, topped with a rounded handle, echoes this same decorative vocabulary with beautiful coherence. The glazing, in warm shades of honey, ochre, and golden brown, enhances the texture of the stoneware and the play of light on the reliefs. The whole exudes a sober and decorative presence, typical of productions in Puisaye in the mid-20th century. Dimensions: Height: 17 cm. Diameter: 15 cm. Perfect condition. Signed.
