Vintage Chesterfield captain's chair in leather

We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely restored vintage Chesterfield captain's chair, fully upholstered in aged brown leather. This chair was completely restored about a year ago; the old colour was removed, and the leather was hand-dyed six times, then aged, sealed, waxed, and polished. The castors have recently been replaced with solid brass ones. It retains all its original patina and signs of use that you would find on an antique piece of furniture. Dimensions: Height: 96 cm adjustable, Width: 65 cm, Depth: 68 cm, Seat height: 49 cm. All measurements are taken at the widest point. Condition: Please refer to the very detailed photos that are part of the description regarding the condition. Please note that vintage and original items like this leather seat will always show a natural patina in the form of cracks, creases, and wear. We recommend regular waxing to prevent any loss of moisture. Hand-dyed leather is not recommended for prolonged exposure to direct sunlight as it can dry out and discolour.
