Superb Art Nouveau pot in handcrafted ceramic, signed Mougin Nancy, a famous French ceramics house from the early 20th century. This unique piece features remarkable relief work, with a sculpted motif depicting a very original lively scene of a rugby match (ball - dive - scrum...) Probably created by Berchelot (signature on the back), which adds to the historical interest of this object. Exterior colour: bronze. The glazed interior is beautifully visible, with its shades of green and blue, and this glossy finish gives the piece its depth. Numbered piece (5832) of exceptional interest.
