Compote dish / Fruit bowl in Limoges porcelain “D&C Limoges” – known as “old Bernardaud”, with a scalloped edge, decorated with garlands of flowers and accented with tied ribbons, in a refined pastel palette, highlighted with a gold rim. Produced by the D&C (Delinières & Cie) factory at the end of the 19th century, this company is directly linked to the history of Bernardaud, of which it forms one of the industrial foundations. Léonard Bernardaud, the future founder of the great Bernardaud house, indeed became a partner of R. Delinières & Cie in 1895.
