Vintage Saint Jean de Bretagne cup and saucer

Winning combo with this cup and saucer, handmade in the Saint-Jean-de-Bretagne earthenware factory (Redon - Ille et Vilaine). Very pretty geometric pattern decoration highlighted by yellow, green and purple hues enhanced with black patterns adding a touch of elegant contrast. The stamps on the back indicate the manufacture in the 50s-60s, a period when the Saint-Jean-de-Bretagne earthenware factory (created in 1943 and closed in 1989) produced pieces with patterns inspired by Breton tradition, while integrating modernist influences. Please note, this is a mix of two different models, making this a unique piece with a lot of charm. Cup dimensions 10 cm, height 6 cm. Saucer diameter 17.5 cm. Beautiful condition, without chips or cracks, very shiny, some micro scratches from use. Two authentic and vintage pieces of Breton ceramics, the perfect mix!
