Empty storage boxes industrial style pocket

Set of two metal boxes that are not in their first life: old coin boxes that will make original pocket trays or storage boxes in an industrial style. They are lacquered with a hammered effect paint that was found a lot on school equipment and furniture in the 60s and 70s. Blue seems a little older than copper. The interior is lacquered red or orange. They are in their juice with many stripes, spots, marks and bumps that confirm their multiple previous lives. The copper no longer has a lock, the blue one no longer closes jointively. The locks no longer worked, so I simply disassembled the mechanisms to prevent them from locking in the closed position (which happened when they were shaken!). They measure 9.5 cm high, 20.5cm wide, 15.5 cm deep for one, 16.5 for the other. They each weigh just under 1.3 kg.
