Grace Argenta plate by Wilhelm Kåge for Gustavsberg

An Art Deco Swedish decorative plate known as 'Argenta', designed by Wilhelm Kåge and handmade for Gustavsberg in the 1930s. Made of green ceramic with silver decoration, this Argenta series piece is typical of the Swedish Grace style popular in Sweden in the 1920s and 1930s. The line was introduced at the Stockholm exhibition in 1930 and has become rare and sought after. The trinket plate is in very good condition with almost no wear, featuring fantastic glazing and silver flower decorations. Despite its age, it remains a beautiful item.
