Decorative ceramic plate from Vallauris by Francis – 1970s

Splendid plate or decorative dish in glazed ceramic, an authentic vintage piece from the 1960s-1970s originating from the famous pottery town of Vallauris. The decoration on the top features a very bright polychrome floral pattern (orange, blue, and purple flowers on a cream background) created with a superb technique of relief outlined glaze. The rim is highlighted with an elegant green line. The back of the plate has all the original inscriptions hand-lettered: "Unique piece", "Exclusive", "HANDMADE", and "Vallauris", the characteristic signature of the ceramist Francis (Francis Crociani).
