The Pippa collection, designed by Rena Dumas (with Peter Coles) for Hermès, dates back to the 1980s — this collection of "nomadic" furniture is signed by Rena Dumas. Rena Dumas (1937-2009), a Greek interior architect, founded her agency RDAI (Rena Dumas Architecture Intérieure) in Paris in 1972, before becoming the official designer for Hermès houses worldwide. The Pippa collection is a set of folding and transportable furniture (desk, stool, table...), conceived around the idea of portability — somewhat like campaign furniture.
