The mb lounge chair is part of marcel breuer's extensive body of work using tubular steel, a revolutionary material in furniture construction when it was designed in 1929. The seemingly continuous frame supports a foam-filled cushion on horizontal metal springs that provide slight movement towards the back. This pair of armchairs was produced in the 1970s and is in good used condition.
