Vintage Op Art serving tray

Rare piece, serving tray on a metal base. Polychrome geometric decor inspired by "Op Art" and more specifically by a graphic movement called "Electronic Age" or "Circuit Design, " which emerged between 1968 and 1972. At that time, designers drew inspiration from printed circuits, IBM computers, electronic components, or telephone networks. The colours red, yellow, and turquoise on a black background are exactly those found in several French textile creations from this period. The black plastic inner rim has come loose at one corner of the metal (photo 6) but is barely visible. Some signs of use on the tray. Can be repurposed by hanging it on the wall.
