This is a stunning "Corso" ceramic dish designed by Ingrid Atterberg for Upsala Ekeby in the 1950s. The rectangular dish features a white glossy glaze with geometric relief patterns and colored squares, set against a matte brown background. It is deeply stamped on the underside with “UE, ” “Sweden, ” “Abg, ” and model number 2147. Produced between 1954 and 1963, this piece is part of the renowned "Corso" series, which includes 11 earthenware objects. The dish reflects Atterberg's distinctive mid-century modern style and craftsmanship. Dimensions: Height 1.38 in (3.5 cm), Width 6.38 in (16.2 cm), Depth 11.03 in (28 cm). Condition: Good, with wear consistent with age and use. There is some unevenness in the brown areas and a chip on the unglazed section, as shown in the photos. Origin: Sweden.
