Articulated lamp L-1 by Luxo designed in 1937 by Jac Jacobsen. The first versions of this famous lamp, the origin of articulated lamps, from the 1940s. The shape of the lampshade is a very open cone, with the switch on the front of the lampshade, rather than above as in later versions. The power cord comes from the top and not from the back at the level of the lampshade's joint. Luxo L-1 stamp near the base. Made in Denmark (see photo). In used condition. Electrical installation needs to be reviewed. Very oxidised plug (probably not the original, more modern), the switch is functional but disconnected. B22 socket (I can provide a bulb with reflector). There is a dent on the lampshade (see photo). No oxidation but missing paint on the edges of the arms as shown in the photos. Non-original clamp. Total height when unfolded is 103 cm. Arm length: 48 cm. Diameter of the lampshade: 20 cm.
