Mid-Century Decorative Floor Lamp in Chromed Metal with Diamond Shaped Shades

Offered for sale is a seldom-seen and extremely attractive floor lamp in chromed and white-lacquered metal. Manufactured by O.M.A. Italia, whose label is still crisp and clearly visible on one of the shades, it has a peculiar and uncommon angular design, with rhomboid light holders painted in white and chromed shades in matching shapes. It looks amazing fitted with mirrored light bulbs. With its sharp lines, the fixture seems to nod to Gio Ponti's iconic creations, both in product design and architecture, although there is no literature linking OMA and Ponti. The lamp is preserved in original conditions, with original wiring, switch, and plug. It is in working order, as shown in pictures. Dimensions: Height 190 cm, Diameter 37 cm.
