Space age spotlight lamp in chrome metal, France circa 1970.

Very beautiful, original and rare lamp or small floor lamp, probably made in France around 1970. Emblematic of the Space Age design of that era, it consists of a mobile light in all planes, along and around a chrome steel rod fixed to a brushed steel base with rubber pads. The spotlight is made of chrome metal with an adjustable opening by sliding the lower part, allowing for variation in lighting (see photos). The fixing ball joint is made of aluminium. The lamp measures 85 cm in height, the base is 22.5x22.5 cm, and the spotlight is 19 cm long, 13.5 cm wide and 10 cm high. The socket is made of brass and porcelain, and the lamp is sold with its bulb. The electrical system has been fully checked and the cord measures 290 cm. In excellent condition, there are just 2 or 3 micro-scratches that do not affect its aesthetic. This high-quality light fixture will bring a true design touch to your interior, whether on a side table, as a bedside lamp in a bedroom, or as a desk lamp. Not to be missed!!!.
