Rare modular library by George Nelson, Omni system. This wall system is the predecessor of the CSS model. This version is the first made by George Nelson in the 1950s. This version is extremely rare on the market. The highly contrasting grain of the rosewood and its quality are simply superb, something not found in the later models he created for Herman Miller. This set consists of 4 modular rows (length: 325cm) according to your needs, with the possibility to move the elements or shelves as desired in height. For smaller spaces, you can simply remove one module to have only 3 rows (length: 245cm); a photo is visible in the listing to show the configuration. This library consists of the following: 5 metal modules of 285cm (can be cut if needed!), 4 storage units: one double-door unit (78/46/35cm), one drawer unit (78/46/45cm), one flip-door unit (78/46/36cm), one sliding-door unit (78/46/36cm). 6 shelves (31/81cm). The condition is very good considering its age. I am posting a large number of photos of all the elements so you can assess the good condition of this set. There are a few defects in certain places but they are hardly visible: small almost invisible scratches and 2 or 3 small repairs that have been restored. A collector's piece published in the USA, therefore unavailable here!!!.
