Freestanding mid-century teak shelving unit by Bräntorps, Sweden, 1960s. This Scandinavian vintage freestanding shelving unit, crafted from teak wood, was manufactured by Bräntorps Møbelfabrik in Sweden in the 1960s. Designed as a modular and architectural solution, the piece perfectly reflects the functional elegance of mid-century design. Dimensions of each element: Height: 174 cm / width: 84 cm / depth: 49.5 cm. The entire structure is supported by black metal uprights, creating a striking contrast with the warm tone of the teak wood. In addition to the shelves, the set includes a cabinet featuring elegantly shaped handles and an internal shelf. The piece is finished on both sides with teak veneer, making it ideal as a room divider. The cabinet door retains the original Bräntorps nameplate, confirming its authenticity and origin. Its simple, almost unadorned form makes this shelving unit a perfect addition to any vintage-style interior. Additional dimensions: Cabinet: height 49.5 cm / width 78.5 cm / depth 41 cm. Shelf depth: 27 cm. Shelf depth: 23 cm. Shelf depth: 20 cm. Two black-painted metal supports, each 174 cm long. The piece has been thoroughly restored. The metal elements have been refinished, while the wood has been cleaned and treated with layers of Danish oil to enhance the natural grain. It remains in excellent condition after restoration.
