Multi-layered glass polychrome vase. A.v.e.m murano - giulio radi. Circa 1950, italy. Created in 1932, arte vetraria muranese (a.v.e.m) brings together experienced italian master glassmakers. Antonio luigi ferro and his son egidio ferro, emilio nason, galliano ferro, giulio radi (as early as 1939 as artistic director and who deepened his research in the field of reactions between metal oxides and used murrhine and gold and silver powders). From 1940 until the death of giulio radi in 1952, the creations of this glassworks turned to the search for precious chromatic effects with inclusions of gold or silver, producing innovative forms with unprecedented iridescent effects helping to introduce design into the world of glass.
