There is a chip measuring approximately 2.5 cm to the edge of the vase (see the last image). No other cracks or structural damage have been observed. Estimated period: 1950-1960. Model: D3072. He was quickly noticed by Charles Catteau. He worked closely with the great ceramist Raymond Chevalier, as well as Léon Empein, eventually becoming an artistic advisor and creating the "studio d'art" workshop. He produced numerous models of tableware, dishes, vases, and ceramic and stoneware sculptures, particularly for Expo 58, with an innovative and avant-garde perspective. As a professor at the provincial institute of arts and crafts in Charleroi, he served as the coordinator of practical work in decorative arts, training many painter artisans and ceramists.
