This is a stunning Art Nouveau hand-painted and hand-crafted earthenware vase from Sala Kakel- och Keramikfabrik, Sweden, made in the early 20th century. The vase features a curved design with an eggshell beige glaze, adorned with beautiful hand-painted red flowers, possibly geraniums, in shades of red, black, and green. The mouth rim is elegantly painted black, with an extra-thin black ring just below the upper edge. Green leaves are painted on the back of the vase. The vase is marked 'Sala 948' with hand-painted details underneath, and the model number is documented in a catalog from Sala Kakel- och Keramikfabrik. This piece can serve as a centerpiece or decorative item, adding vintage charm to any interior. Dimensions: Height 17.5 cm, Diameter 12.5 cm. Condition: Good, with one small chip in the glaze at the base and three small production flaws in the beige glaze.
