1970s “AJ Royal” Hanging lamp by Arne Jacobsen for Louis Poulsen, Denmark

A lovely hanging lamp, model “aj royal” designed by arne jacobsen, manufactured by louis poulsen in denmark around 1960. The grey semi-circle hood has some openings in the top, adding a nice ambience when emitting it’s bright light. There’s another semi-circle shade within the hood, which is a unique touch that allows the downwards light to emit in a beautiful way. A highly recognizable find of mid-century lighting! It remains in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
