Discovered in an old family home, this wardrobe comes from the 1940s furniture of the Saint-Chamond hospital. As a side note: the "couramiauds" (inhabitants of Saint-Chamond) refer to this item as "an Antoine Pinay wardrobe, " named after the minister during the 1950s, who was at that time the mayor of the city. Despite its great age, this piece of furniture is in good condition; it has been treated with linseed oil to restore its original honey-golden shine. They are only surface cracks. The beautiful handles and locks are original (except for one key). The doors lock. The wardrobe, made of solid wood, is not disassemblable, except for the doors and drawers, which will lighten its weight for transport. Inside, the hanging space measures 143cm in height from the bottom of the furniture to the clothes rail, with a width of 58cm and a depth of 44cm. The shelves are removable, and their height is adjustable according to your needs. The drawers measure 50cm in width, 43cm in depth, and 12cm in height (useful space).
