Important regional monoxyle wardrobe in blonde walnut, from the Louis XV period (18th century).

It features a rich woodworking style characteristic of productions from the west of France (probably of Charente or Vendée origin). It opens with a wide door with a central panel that is curved, topped with an elegantly carved "gendarme hat" cornice adorned with drapery motifs and bas-relief festoons. The lower rail, shaped, is centred with a stylised bouquet of flowers (tulips) emerging from a vase, symbolising prosperity. It rests on curved front legs known as "snail legs." Ornamentation and ironwork: a superb and long polished iron keyhole entry with cut-out geometric patterns and hearts. A large drawer at the bottom is fitted with its original iron pull handles, featuring cut-out plates. Interior layout: shelves (covered with a floral fabric in the 18th-century style). Dimensions: height 236 cm, width 113 cm, depth 66 cm. Condition: period ironwork.
