19th-century cast iron fireplace set comprising three elements: Two imposing andirons with griffins, topped with ball columns. An ornate firebar, decorated with scrollwork and a central motif. A cast iron fireplace plate, with a curved top, depicting a winged dragon soaring over a vegetative landscape. Noted markings: 463 CC and 445 CC and PCC10. Dimensions: Andirons: height 59 cm, width 28 cm, depth 18 cm each. Firebar: length 96 cm, height 20 cm, depth 8 cm. Adjustable total width: from 98 to 143 cm. Fireplace plate: height 64 cm, width 63 cm, thickness 2 cm. Total weight approximately: 60 kg. Overall very good condition of the set, with no cracks or chips. Cleaned with a lovely patina. Ready to be used by a new home. A super decorative set that I no longer need. I am selling the complete lot.
