Large fireplace screen in gilded bronze with putti decoration and rocaille design.

Large fireplace screen in gilded bronze decorated with putti and openwork rocaille decoration. The frame is richly adorned with volutes, foliage, and shells characteristic of the Louis XV style. The centre features two cherubs (putti) flanking a stylised brazier. The screen is fitted with its original metal mesh designed to protect against sparks while allowing heat to radiate. The harmonious proportions and quality of the decoration make it a sought-after decorative piece for an antique fireplace or a classic interior.
