Danish mid century teak shelving unit, 1960s

A classic composition of Scandinavian teak shelves, hanging on solid wood rails and brass hangers. They were made in Denmark sometime in the 1960's. The dimensions of the unit are H: 138 / W: 244 / D: 20 cm. The set features an entirely modular shelving system. The current configuration includes four shelves in the central section and six placed symmetrically on the sides, providing practical storage and display space for books and decorative objects. The shelving system is very easy to assemble, and the shelves can be placed higher or lower according to one’s needs. The set consists of: 10 shelves 20 cm depth, 4 solid wood rails, 138 cm long, Brass hangers. The unit has been renovated. The brass has been polished, and the wood has been sanded down and finished with layers of satin lacquer to enhance the beautiful teak wood grain. The unit is in great renovated condition.
