Poul Cadovius Royal shelving unit in teak, 1960s

Poul Cadovius teak shelving unit 'Royal' made in Denmark in the 1950s-1960s. Fully renovated, this modular shelving system features nine teak-veneered shelves on solid wood rails with golden brass hangers. The wall unit is fully adjustable, allowing shelves to be placed at various heights using a simple slot system. The set includes an expository shelf for magazines or vinyl records. The overall set size is H: 149 cm / W: 244 cm / D: 30 cm. The set consists of: 3 shelves (30 cm depth), 3 shelves (20 cm depth), 2 shelves (24 cm depth), 4 wooden rails (100 cm long), brass hardware, and 1 expository shelf (29 cm depth). The wood has been cleaned and finished with Danish oil, giving a satin, low-luster sheen typical of Danish mid-century modern pieces. The set is in fantastic renovated condition.
