Three-seater canapé carved from solid walnut with claw feet.

We are delighted to offer for sale this very beautiful mid-century three-seater sofa with finely hand-carved clawed lion feet and a solid carved walnut frame. This sofa is part of a set that includes a three-seater sofa, a pair of standard armchairs, a pair of occasional chairs, and a pair of stools. The solid walnut structure is adorned with acanthus leaves and Georgian Irish-style foliage. The cushion features traditional Victorian coil springs, the most comfortable and well-designed on the market. The upholstery has been professionally cleaned, and the frame has been cleaned, waxed, and polished. Some very discreet small marks may be present. Dimensions: height 94 cm, width 187 cm, depth 94 cm, seat height 49 cm. Available for collection from our warehouses in Wimbledon. The condition is good despite wear consistent with age and use. A natural patina may be present on the leather, which is not recommended to be exposed to direct sunlight for long periods.
