Antique trumeau mirror in oak (renovated)

Fireplace mirror with timeless charm, crafted from beautiful light oak. Its orderly structure: frieze with framed panels, fluted uprights, straight cornice, reflects a sober and elegant classic repertoire, between Directoire and rustic Louis XVI. The bevelled glass, slightly patinated by time, adds an authentic depth to the whole. Materials: solid oak frame with pronounced grain and a golden blonde hue. Antique bevelled glass with slight signs of use characteristic of period mirrors. Features: the trumeau mirror frame is organised into three distinct parts: an upper frieze composed of three rectangular panels framed by mouldings, side uprights adorned with fine fluting, and a flat cornice forming an entablature. The whole rests on a symmetrical and rigorous composition. The bevelled glass, framed by a moulded fillet, gives the mirror a luminous presence and a beautiful depth of reflection. Renovation: the trumeau mirror has been hand-sanded and cleaned. It has been left in natural wood. Dimensions: L112 X H80 X E6.
