Armchair by Grete Jalk for France & Son, Danish Design, 1950er

Dimensions: 73 X 75 X 77 cm (width X height X depth) This beautiful lounge chair was designed by grete jalk for france and son in the 1950s in denmark. The elegant shape and the fragile proportions make this easy chair one of the most outstanding designs of the mid century era. The chair is manufactured out of massive teak wood and comes with the original comfortable boxspring cushions with woolen upholstery. The teak wood frame has been refinished and shows only some minor traces of wear and tear, nothing that distracts. The dust cover underneath the seat cushion has been renewed as well. The armchair’s overall appearance presents beautifully.
