Designed in 1958 by Poul Henningsen for Louis Poulsen, the PH 5 pendant takes its name from the diameter of 50 cm of the main lampshade. At the time of its creation, no one suspected that PH 5 would eventually embody the characteristic lighting of Poul Henningsen. The pendant is distinguished by its 100% anti-glare lighting, regardless of the light source used and how the lamp is installed. The PH 5 pendant from Louis Poulsen emits light directed downwards and to the sides, thus illuminating itself. Timeless, PH 5 continues to brighten the most modern interiors with its colour palette.
