Danish vintage PH 5 pendant lamp by Poul Henningsen, Louis Poulsen, 1958

The **PH 5 pendant lamp** is an icon of Danish design that has gained enormous popularity around the world. It was designed by renowned Danish designer and architect **Poul Henningsen** in 1958 and is still manufactured by **Louis Poulsen** today. The PH 5 is based on Henningsen's characteristic reflective lighting system, which directs light not only downward but also sideways, while gently illuminating the lamp itself. Thanks to its construction, the PH 5 provides soft, diffused and glare-free light with a warm tone. **Dimensions: ** Diameter: 50 cm. Height: 27.6 cm. **Condition: ** The lamp is in very good vintage condition, with the exception of some losses to the upper shade, which are clearly shown in the photos. Please review all photos carefully, as they form part of the condition description. **Restoration & Electrical: ** The lamp has been carefully restored and prepared for its new home. It has been thoroughly cleaned, and the electrical system has been checked. The original cable has been replaced with a new braided electrical cable. We put a lot of time, care and heart into preparing each lamp. Our aim is to preserve its original vintage character while making sure it is clean, functional and ready to be installed and enjoyed.
