Anvia 7056 balance wall lamp by J.J.M. Hoogervorst, 1950s

Vintage Anvia 7056 wall lamp, designed by J.J.M. Hoogervorst in the 1950s. This distinctive lamp features a counterbalance design with an ingenious counterweight at the rear of the metal arm, allowing it to remain stable in virtually any desired position. The combination of the white metal arm, red-lacquered shade, and red details gives the lamp a distinct mid-century aesthetic. Its functional balance system and long, adjustable arm make it not only a striking design piece but also a highly practical reading or desk lamp. The lamp is in very neat vintage condition for its age. There is some fading on the shade, and the cord has yellowed slightly; otherwise, the lamp is in very good condition.
